from Occupy DC yesterday, when dad and I went to go check it out :)

we did a stream ecosystem lab in AP Environmental Science the other day. most people had to collect samples and do tests for pH and dissolved oxygen levels and shit. I got to put on these sexy-ass boots and catch salamanders with a net.

WHY ARE WE SO COOL

so I had a GREAT day! we (we being tamera, eric, jamie, emily, arianna, roxanne, tristan, dylan and unfortunately no sarah tonight) watched scary movies and ate pizza in jamie’s basement all afternoon/evening, 9 of us piled on one couch <3

when I got home, my dad and I found a box of his old shirts from the ’80s that don’t fit him anymore; I am now in possession of a dank-ass Lou Reed shirt from ‘84 woooo.

and just now, we (my dad & i) geeked out and went down to the basement and looked through all his old records and laid on the floor and listened to Let it Be and Dark Side of the Moon.

this is how life is supposed to be lived.
